Our Students SOAR


I am a student who SOARs at John S. Martinez Sea & Sky STEM Magnet School. I take pride in myself, my school, and how I treat others. I was born to succeed and achieve. Together we will SOAR with safety, ownership, attitude, and respect.

Our school promotes an innovative, supportive, and rigorous thinking environment, where all students succeed and achieve academically and socially. Students explore the hydrosphere, atmosphere, space, and human impact on the sea and sky in student-centered classrooms that utilize a STEM based approach. We provide a variety of opportunities to increase engagement, academic awareness, English language acquisition, and social-emotional learning all while fostering a growth mindset. By educating the whole child, we provide students the necessary skills to be problem solvers, innovative thinkers, and understand how their actions impact the world around them.
